I'm sure I'll get into it later but the town building and convoy system captivated me for the first 16 hrs and I'm still technically in tutorial mode of the campaign lol. It's annoying, but you can automate combat if you're not playing for the action element right away). The only drawbacks are the combat system and controls (they don't really help at all teaching how to fight but the rest of the game is well explained. It's everything I was hoping no man's sky would be and so much more. Magical musical score and plenty to keep upgrading and tinkering makes this my favorite game of all time. It's not too hard, you're not punished too badly for mistakes, and it's easy to get side tracked for hours on end ignoring missions in the campaign, which you're also not punished for. This games not for everybody, but it's by far the best reward-for-grinding strategy sandbox ever made. Set your own goals and try to take over seas, develop towns, micromanage economies and zone out for hours on end. They're looking for direction, that's not this. People that hate on this game are looking for action: that's not this.
